Introducing 🤖BubsBot for Your Discord Server

🤖BubsBot is a specialized Discord bot designed for effective server management and moderation. It automatically manages messages containing "@everyone" or "@here", ensuring a spam-free environment. It also looks for "keywords" stuff that might be spamming or malware type spam. Non-admin users who send such messages are timed out for 24 hours, promoting orderly communication.

Adding 🤖BubsBot to Your Server:

  1. 🤖Bot Token:

    • (a) The bot token is essential for authentication with Discord's API. Replace the DISCORD_BOT_TOKEN in the bubsbot.py file with your bot's token.
    • (b) Token handling is managed by the developer.

  2. 🔗Invite Link:

    • (a) The developer will provide an invite link for adding the bot to your Discord server.

  3. Timeout Role:

    • (a) Create a "Timeout Role" on your Discord server with specific permissions: View Channel, Disable Send Messages, Enable Read Chat History.
    • (b) Add the Timeout Role to every channel in your server to ensure proper functionality.

  4. 🤖Bot Configuration:

    • (a) The bot is pre-configured upon setup. Avoid modifying the bubsbot.py file to maintain functionality.
    • (b) Ensure the command prefix and timeout role name remain unchanged.
    • (c) The /test command is restricted to server owners and admins for security reasons.
    • (d) Contact the developer for adjustments or issues; unauthorized modifications may cause malfunctions.

  5. 🎮Bot Commands:

    • /daily: Claim daily rewards in coins.
    • /coins: Check accumulated coins.
    • /change_status: Change bot status (Admin role required).

The bot includes anti-spam features. Users misusing @everyone or @here commands are timed out for 24 hours, except for server owners and admins. After the timeout, the user is automatically removed.

Set Up 🥳Daily Rewards🥳 Channel: to use /daily and /coins commands.

🆔 How To Find Discord Server ID:

  1. (a) Right-click on the server name in the left-side server list.

  2. (b) Select "Copy ID" from the context menu.

  3. (c) Access server settings, click on roles, and read step (b) for details.

  4. (d) Use this Server ID for bot configuration to ensure proper functionality.
